    ready for welding

I finally got to making the parts for the intake plenum and modifying the SS manifolds for MPI. We cut the .08 3000 series aluminum wit a Jig saw and cut the holes with a hole saw. The inlet pipes were hand formed with a hammer and dolly. The worst part was the compound angle on the injector bungs making the set-up kind of tough (and the manifolds have few flat surfaces to grab tight on). A few flying parts later and the SS manifolds have bungs. We had to make the fuel rail hold down/ standoff for the stock TC88 Fuel rail/inlet and will be welding them to the manifold. The LS style throttle body mounts at an angle to the center of the plenum. The plenum is attached to the inlet manifolds with reinforced silicone tubes (not shown). Not sure how all this is going to work, but Ive got until the 17th to find out...
