New to holley dominator EFI

Just got our bbc with holley dominator EFI running. It has been tuned on the dyno but not in real world driving. I have been told I need to run it open loop on the street. How do I do that. I was wondering how other people are running there stuff?

I don't know squat about the Holley Dominator EFI system, but closed loop is the normal terminology for O2 sensor feed back for fuel corrections, open loop just sounds wrong to me.

Did "they" explain why it needs to be run open loop? Theres only a few reasons why (cracked headers, Zoomies, etc. ) that I can think of...all of which can be either fixed or "worked around" for closed loop performance.

They did not. I was looking for more opinions on driving on the street if closed loop made sense. I am all new to EFI and I have to learn fast. We are heading to drag week soon and got some bugs to work out. Going for our first street drive tonight so I will report back in the morning.

Well under load the car has a bad bog. We tried to data log some high speed driving but I cant figure out how to look at it?

A couple of questions:
Was the motor dyno tuned in open loop?
If so, did you dyno tune it by modifying only the VE/PW table?

That should be run in CLOSED Loop!!!!!
