  • Hot Rod's Drag Weekend

Anybody heard anymore news on this, DF posted on Facebook that they were going to do a DragWeekend, that would go from Tucson, AZ, to Phoenix, AZ and end in Fontana, CA. And I'm totally down with doing it. So have you heard any news and who thinks they will be going?

It's a possibility for me. It will be interesting to know the rules. That's a pretty good drive from Fontana back to Tuscon after it is over.

Soooo, will the bridge be back up before Drag Weekend? Or will the route just get that much longer??

BBR. Do you really think DF would change the rules because of a different area of the country?

maybe because it's a short Drag Week, at every stop, you have to video driver/co-driver doing 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, and 50 lunges. ya know just to make it interesting.

My feeling is that the classes might be a bit more condensed than the normal Drag Week stuff. Not to mention how to handle the Point A to Point B nature of this event vs. a loop like we usually do.

Heck I'm not even sure DF has a whole lot to do with DW anymore at this point.

I personally think the rules for classes should not be changed at all. The point A to B etc is easy. Tow to track 2. Then drive race car to track 1. Then at end you drive back to 2. Dragweek is David. He will make it right. Have faith.
