We left last night about 11:30 and drove to within 2.5 hours of the track, stopped to eat and It's raining bad. We may wait out the rain and show up at the track in the morning. Drove the car about 2 miles, never pulled the trailer, and needs tuned bad. Welcome to DW!

Wednesdays results

87 R Str Machine Eliminator 2005 Pontiac GTO Red 11.556 127.800, a almost .4 second and 2mph improvement on yesterday.

Getting better every day, will it be a 10 by Friday?

The average for the three days 12.1440 at 124.120.

At the moment it's sitting about 25 places out of the top 32 of street machine eliminator, the top 32 go into the final.

Not good news for Thursday, according to the results the GTO is out of the event.

I didnt make it... had some issues with the EFI but that wasnt the
reason to not make it.... my other house was broke into on Saturday
of the holiday weekend.. had to go up there to secure the house
and see what was gone and busted up.... they got about $7000
worth of stuff.. busted the front door to get in... took me 8 days to
get it secured and talking with the police and insurance... I had to
bolt the front door together to secure the place and replace some
hardware... couldnt believe I couldnt find a company to put a door
in the way I wanted.. door is on order and should be ready in 6
weeks(should)

Something broke in Martin. Lost some oil pressure and had a bunch of what looked like bronze in the oil filter. Ran 11.55@128 in Martin so yeah Friday would have been in the 10's but we didn't make it. I'll get it fixed up! Was also getting 18mpg.
