  • Rocky Mountain Race Week 2016

Looks like the dates are July 9-16th. Anyone here planning to run this year? Looks like the same tracks as last year, but beginning and ending in Kearney, NE this time.

I have considered it because my boys would want to go. I have also not considered it because my boys would want to go.

Plan to run again this year. If my son can finish his car we will bring two. Outside chance I can convince my wife and daughter to enter a third car.

I think you will have a good time. It is small enough that you will be able to meet/know just about everybody in the event... Even with tons of problems on Day 1, my son and I had a good time last year!

This year my son (will be 17 on day 1 of RMRW) will have his own entry in one of the True Street classes. Either with his place holder Daytona or with whatever he wraps around the Magnum V10 that he is building (likely a 3rd gen Camaro if we don't find cheap 70's iron in his price range that he likes...)

I will be in Sport Compact with my '87 24V 3.5L turbocharged Shadow. Looking for 11's this year...

My wife has been considering taking my '91 3L turbo Spirit (True Street/Sport Compact)... Should run 13's and have functional AC... Barring that she will probably be in the "Road Week" class in her daily-driver minivan.

Has anyone seen any information on what time the tracks open each day? I saw the post about Saturday but wondering about other days. We will be following along until great bend.
