one time each of the past two years, I ran too quick and had to make another pass. I have no desire to go faster/quicker.

That sounds like you're stuck in safety limit blues but then you have reached your goal some time ago. So what's next?

Hoping to make it with the stroker motor this year, all it needs is the EFI manifold installed and the valve seals swapped out since they weren't working well. If for some reason that doesn't happen the 360 will be going along for drag week #5. I will likely try to do some things to shed some weight before DW also.

New car, much lighter than the old Malibu.

Expecting mid 9's based on the combo in a much heavier less aero car. Yes it will be all aluminum LS powered, haters don't bother it was a 6 cylinder base sedan heading to salvage. To me they are just bodies and engines.

Tail wind and better valve train setup. 0.20 would be great. But not holding my breath. On paper and the real thing always different.

How about sharing the details on the weight difference and the ET before the change?

Mainly to one without a bad roller, ground down lobe and broken valve spring. Still staying solid roller just new.

Are you expecting 9.80's on motor?
Going aluminum block is way cool and the setup at the track is much more friendly from what I see. Do you think it will carry thru 60ft?
