Now its a real race car. I my go back to the trailer this year too. But another one of those giant box deals. The last time I reserved one of the little fiberglass jibs and when I went to pick it up in KC they didn't have so the 'upgraded' me for free to the frickin six foot box. I might bring a cheapie l kit job this time. What are you going use BBR?

Is that a Harbor Freight deal? That's just what I need, something small and light.

Would you trust it with the weight of a fully assembled big block?

No, but hopefully I won't have to, just some extra tires, gas cans and such.

I'm just wondering so if I were to get one. Though I think I'm retiring the jeep and getting a fairly new HD chevy truck....

Randall, sorry to be so close minded this could be your fully assembled big block in which case the answer is still no.

Off topic story. I ordered an engine stand with wheels for my 429ish BBF and after completing our dyno pulls back in 2006 we took it off the dyno cart and bolted up the Jeg's engine stand.

As we set the full weight of the motor onto the stand the rubber wheels crushed off the puny axles and the engine and stand spread the flanges for the caster like they were made of cheap import pot metal. So much for the $69.00 Jeg's roller stand.

I called them and they said they would sell a set of casters. WTF!? No refund nothing.

I have never bought from Jeg's again. End of Rant.

I built my own from some scrap angle iron and Home Depot casters.

So the message is fitness for purpose. And I test everything by jumping up and down on it.

I borrowed one seriously hefty engine stand for the 454. I knew it was good because the front of the engine pointed slightly upward instead of downward.

Quality tools last a lifetime, the cheapie stuff drops the motor on your foot.

Hydraulics with regular use last longer than ones that sit. That's my story and I'm sticking too it
