I found another 4 bolt block in the shop. I don't know what its out of but I took it to John Day Custom Engines for a bore and prep.

Great - you'll have that thing running like a top in no time - best of luck on DW - one of these years I hope to join all you guys.

It must be my advancing age, but the 'drama' is killing me this time. Dyno day is the 19th, I hope we don't break anything. Everything is getting close to the wire. Today's fun was a change in the dyno location due to family scheduling issues. The world does not revolve around this particular passion it appears.

Thank God I don't need a new block. Everything else is new or different.

        Hang in there Walt.

Just talked to Jeff Lutz, 57 is ready to go. Honda is not, they have been really busy at the shop to finish it up and get some track time in.

Brian Rock and Scott Clark arrive Thursday to help with the new engine thrash, dyno thrash, stab it in thrash, attempt to tune it thrash. I'm getting worried now. The only part missing to my knowledge is the crank trigger wheel, oops.

I'm in Reading PA with Frank Hawley trying to get an NHRA license. Its beautiful country here, hope it stops raining.

I'm hoping to get the engine in and mostly bolted up tonight to officially fire up tomorrow right after work. If that all goes well I'll I'll leave on a ~1200 mile road trip on Friday to SoCal as a test drive and visit family and friends.
                              Escaped on a technicality.
