Congratulations, I know how it feels to chase that single digit number for a long time.

If you don't mind what trans, converter, rear gear, tire combo do you have? I ask because another Drag Week buddy Brian Rock (65 GTO) has been chasing the magic 9.99 or better for some time. He went to Bakersfield Saturday and Sunday and got new bests 10.07 and 10.08 but missed due to poor track prep and 60 fts., 1.50's instead of the usual high 1.30's. Almost identical MPH #'s

                        Jake uses a 4:88 a turbo 350 with a 6800 stall LMAO

Running more timing down low and pulling it up high has helped on his

Jeff is right............I run a Coan XLT 350 with a 2.52/1/52/1. Converter is a Coan Custom Billet aluminum stator 8" deal. Strange engineering Dana 60 with their lightweight spool and 4.88 gears, and 28" Street Tires.

Cruising with Doc this year at 65 Mph it was at 4200-4400 give or take.
