        did you get the latest issue of Hot Rod? came in the mail today. I doubt there's any info in there...but there is a neat pic of Mike's 53 ford, and Ron's comment about gasoline and gear oil

          It's too early. They want the anticipation to build more before they release any info. On a side note, has anyone seen the new rules? or are they not out yet. Someone posted on YB that the new rules were on HotRod's web site. I could only find the proposed rules tho.

                        In years past we dont know anything till after the Power Tour. I for one am glad you guys are wound up about going but as Drag Week will teach you its all about pacing yourself. LOL

                          Does it really matter to those who are bit by the DW bug? It could be run on Pluto and we would be calling for reservations.

                              I hate to say this but location does matter to me. A East Coast location about doubles the cost of the event due to time off work and the expense of getting the heap to the starting point. I'd love the Southwest or Midwest, but 3000 miles each way begins to put the damper on things.
