I never have understood why people cheat in an endeavor like this. Your sauce has to be pretty weak (from both a machinery and a personal ethics standpoint) to resort to the kind of tactics that produced this rule.

People hint or ask about how easy it is to cheat with our turbo roadrace car. Yeah it'd be easy, but that little plastic trophy is worth even less if if I resorted to that crap.

I wouldn't impound them, I throw the assholes out if there was even a hint of impropriety. What the hell is wrong with the people?
        I'm still learning

Brings a whole new meaning to the "spirit of DragWeek" - I will have to get fitted for a new stahlhelm (with custom SS decals)

I suppose this may lead to some of the clandestine stuff that happened in '05 with a certain guy loading up in a trailer in the middle of the night to avoid driving in the rain. So in turn that could mean certain cars bing escorted into the pits and the special place of 'honor' that the Hot Rod guys designate.

I for one feel it a little sad its coming to this. When I changed to the big bore, I took a good rotater out, over 4 CID I did not want to be called a cheater and everything I have built, and trust with guys who are now close friends would be lost, just not worth it to me.
