Figured I would Man up and give you something to trash me about. So tomorrow I am taking the car to a chassis dyno, a dynojet to be exact. So let play how little will my mustang will make at the wheels.

    Here the rundown
Stock bore stroke 302, 3x4, non roller block (it was given to me)
    10-1 compression
Summit flat tappet cam, 222/498 cam
    Edlebrock air gap
750 or a 600 holley, have both going to give the both a shot.
TFS twisted wedge 170 heads, 2.02 int, 1.60 exhaust
1 5/8" full length headers (currently open may put the exhaust on tomorrow if we have time)
    AOD 10" 3500 stall
4.10 gears with a spool 8.8 rear end
    electric fan

I do not know what it weighs right now, but I have ran 12.7@108

take your best guess, and make fun all you want.
    Neal

222 @ .050" and .498" lift at the valve with 1.6 ratio rockers?

That sounds like too little of a cam for those twisted wedge heads with big valves in 'em at 10:1 CR

Stock HO 5.0 were rated at 225HP at close to 9:1 compression ratio.

At 10:1 plus the better heads intake and exhaust, I'll go conservative and bet you'll best 275 given the typical 15% loss from the flywheel to the tires (putting the mill at ~1hp per cube at the flywheel)
There's always something new to learn.
