Tranny rebuild under way. Leo Glassbrenner's shop. He has two shelves of Division 7 Wallys and a couple of national event Stock Wallys. It's nice to talk to a guy who really knows how drag cars work.

Damn. I knew I forgot to ask him something. We are doing the autopsy on AOD Monday. Kind of a vivisection really cause it wasn't compley dead, just a little toasty.

Oh, and yes he does, thanks to Randall's diligence in tracking down this story. I just called and asked John McGann who he'd recomend as I rmembered the story on the 4R70W but I couldn't find it to save my life.

I knew making fun of Fords would pay off positively someday

Actually, I knew McGann has quite a bit of work on his car and couldn't let Speedy simply think it rolled out of police duty unscathed I just googled "Car Craft Crown Vic" and it popped up in the first couple links.

Uggghhh. Just scored a good deal on a tubular k-member so even more disassembly required.

Hope it's not an AJE, otherwise your wobble will be in the front end this year!

bulletproof - how did the plugs look? did you do any carb tuning? lower or higher stall converter?

I'm about to pull the front and back bumpers off mine to send them in for chrome, and so the rest of the car can go to paint.

I'm thinking .... how bad of disrepair is my savings account in. A 2013 GT500 is sounding good long about now.

Hey Bill, I can't find the thread where I saw you say it but wondering which power windows you're gonna use in your car. I found some universal kits for under $100 on ebay but not sure how good those work. I already have pretty new regulators in the doors so not wanting to spend the $ on the replacement regulator style.

it was a real cluster of a day at the track...didnt get to pull the plugs ....went from a coan 3500 to a coan 4500.car has never really launched as hard as i think it should, it does feel alot better with the 4500 stall, carb was a out of the box holley 750 vac secondarys went with a new 750 holley ultra hp. other than adding a msd 6al box nothing else has changed on the car...last season last day at the track it went 11:99 @ 113 mph... this weekend all i could get was 12:11 @ 109.....im gonna get busy tuning on it..was just hoping for more with the "better parts"
