Waiting List

Does anyone know how/when they will inform those on the waiting list if they have a spot?

Is the extra 50 a go?

I have posted to DF's FB page and to HR's, but have not gotten a reply.

A friend of mine here in town is on the list and is not so computer savvy, so I am trying to keep on top of this for him.

Those are all things I would love to know... I emailed them that I wanted to be on the waiting list, but have not heard a peep out of them... (I am assuming that they received my email and that I am on the list, but I don't really know...)

I am guessing that we won't hear from them until some time after the Power Tour is over...

I saw some where that they will be filling up slots in August...

I taked to a buddy of ours who went with us in '07 and is on the wait list. He got a response saying they would be told who was in 'sometime" in August and they would have to register and pay to confirm the slot or they'd move on down the list. he was n't clear on what order or priority they were assigning to the folks on the list.

BBR, I hope your buddy gave them a good e-mail account and checks it frequently. This stuff will likely be handed off to the company that manges the registration transactions and I wouldn't rely on HRM or DF to have the time to personally manage the list.

I would think they are waiting to see the drop out rate for those who decide they cant make it to firm up

Scottie and I were at his granddaughter's b-day party when they announced the waiting list on FB. I just happened by be looking at FB when they posted it and we sent in an email with his contact info, etc., literally minutes after it was posted. We used my yahoo account to send it (because he just has a flip phone) and my yahoo mail goes straight to my phone, so it is unlikely I will miss an email from them. I kind of dropped the ball because I forgot Scottie had told me he wanted to go until I ran into him at the party and he asked about it. iFailed.

The HR blog made said they were going to start at the top of the waiting list and go down as they received them. If Scottie does not get in, we'll be scratching our heads for sure because we didn't jack around.

So has anybody that thinks they are on the waiting list actually received an email from HR saying they are on the waiting list?
