I blew coffee out my nose when I read your post, it conjured up an image of a winnebago with a car in an enclosed trailer ala KnightRider, swarmed with mechanics. Maybe the reward for getting caught should be KITT sticker.

I heard somebody say it about last year - some folks intentionally don't spend more time with others that they want to hang out with just to prevent the perception of impropriety... and having to do that to keep from being labeled a cheater when all you wanna do is hang out and maybe help a little is kinda f*d up.

OTOH, if my entry happens to be a E350 15 passenger prisoner van outfitted by Summit and Matco and I'm never more then 3 miles from another guy...

anyway, I'm planning to have some fun and try to go fast for me. I'd be bummed if you didn't go because somebody takes ambition right off the f*ing edge. I don't want to be a wallflower, but I don't take any of this so serious that I battle with my conscience over any decision.

I couldnt care less if somebody lowers themselves to cheating. Especially when the fastest daily driver car ran 10.80,s last year. I'm there for myself to enjoy the event and see some friends for the week. If you wanna cheat go ahead I couldn't care less. I'm not there to stroke my ego and claim to be the best or fastest. If the only reason you go is to win then you go for the wrong reasons.
