Same old stuff....62 Chevy II Altered Wheelbase, blown 427, still has a dual point Mallory distributor, 12" converter, little cam, L88 aluminum heads, but now featuring 4.11 gears for your enjoyment. Hope I get there...plan is to drive it from AZ to Gateway, as well as the normal Drag Week punishment. Wish us luck!My fabulous web page

The Silver Buick. Mak'in 4,200HP, runs bottom 4's, and has air conditioning. At least one of these statements is correct
Buick 10.6:1 464" Buick, MegaSquirt EFI, TKO-600 5-speed, and 3.89 gears, up from 3.42's in 2012. Also driving it to Gateway from Nevada.Escaped on a technicality.

Still in the big green boat anchor. New Hooker headers and a little spray this year. No bar, so hope to get close to 11.50 and no quicker. 4th DW on same old BB. Thought about pulling the heads this year and looking, but that's as close as I got .......I'm such a slacker. 18,000+ miles and going......pulled the intake twice and valve covers every year (check lash) But am in the slow group of Daily Drivers.Last edited by greenXpress; September 5, 2015, 11:21 AM.Drag Week 2012 (wet paint and no transmission but finished) Drag Week 2013 Daily Driver finished in middle of pack (again) Drag Week 2014 #56 of 126 Daily Drivers.
