One of the others ran a 7.0 @ 212 so he has the speed but Larry
is still the quickest... he has some serious competition this year

When are they going to post day 1 results.

I think they post results when they get a chance to sit down and to the paperwork...sometimes it's pretty late at night.

HOT ROD is “where it all began,” as the first magazine to cover the hot rod culture. Since that time, HOT ROD has evolved into a brand devoted to everything from hot rods to restomods, barn finds to project cars and everything in between.

Lutz ran 7.16 ( I think) @ 212.49 MPH. New speed record. Joe Barry ran 202 MPH- his first 200 at drag week. He shook so hard that he broke the front windshield and side window.

Definitely some great racing going on in ALL the classes, and I thought Brian was exceptional in his announcing duties.
BTW, the HotRod.com homepage has a shot with a BS sticker on a toolbox......cool..

Larson ran 7.011 @ 209 today. His first two runs were tire shake city, hurt the trans but got it fixed. Jeff Lutz- 7.001 @ 212.96 MPH. That shoebox is haulin the mail!

We were kind of surprised they kept bumping the lane closing time today. HRtv was all over Larry's pit area when he was trying to get another lap in.

Yes they did Brian, but you are doing one hell of a job!! Doing both sides of the deal, you are calling the show well, AND doing color!

I think the gloves are off the rest of the week between Larson and Lutz! This is gonna become a real barn burner til the last run on Friday if they both stay healthy!!
