BBR, KJ Jones, CDMBill, and Paul Whalen laid down some respectable (read: enviable) passes in Mustangs, though. And that hulking Fairmont wagon was a Fox, even if it is a size larger than a Fox Mustang.

Backstory:
They turned off virtually all the lights at the Hat before I got there . . . and I hadn't been setting a trip odometer to follow the HRM route instructions. So in air-conditioned comfort, I cruised up and down that street (read: frantically searched) until I found that checkpoint . . . by backtracking to a point where I could set the trip odometer. DOH!

Brand rivalries like that are good for the sport. Now if Ford would just step up a bit more to level the playing field in sportsman racing and do more for the "all motor" classes. Chevy still undercuts Ford on price on crate motors and other parts . . . .
