Glad I got to finally meet some of the members and cruised/raced with some of you this past week. Already planning on next year. Feels strange today to wake up and not head to track.

I did a short test drive today with my W-2 heads on the Rampage(I put
them on just before we left for DW) but it looks like the problem of oil
coming out the tail pipes is fixed... I ran it up to 160* and its fine but I
want to get it up to 180* to make sure... I need to play with the PV on the
carb... seems to open to late/slow..... things are finally looking promising

I know Dale likes his 700r4 but thats because its OD and lock up.. with the 400
and the GV OD I'm sure you will like it... I run a 518 mopar trans in my Rampage
but I eliminated the lock up so I could run a 5000 stall conv(mopar doesnt have a
good lock up conv with out running a spacer plate and IF the conv is strong enough
with the lock up it is PRICEY)

went to the track today track wasn't prep very good best 60" I had was a 1.67 but still ran a best of 11.62 at 114... Ran the truck on bottle 125hp hit ran 10.81 @ 126 was happy with it but the 60" was 1.70 so there is a lot left in it best 60 ever 1.48... think if I step up to 175hp hit and the track is good maybe 10.30 or 10.40 will see
