  • Hood getting some color, before getting bolted on for blending and clear.

        DW2013 - DNF (Gateway - trans failure)
        DW2014 - SR BB/PA class winner!
        DW2015 - Finished in 1 piece (for once!)
        DW2016 - Still "Fox Free" ;)

        • Thanks, its a fiberglass bolt on AMX hood I had for a few yrs(we molded a cowl to it), first time in 25yrs its had the carbs covered. Trying to eliminate some tuning problems with the carbs out in the air, well see. Oh and since my stock hood flew up and bent teh hood fender and hinges I kinda had to do this..

              • No motor yet no tq converter and it just went out to paint.
                Still have to tune it completely assemble
                But I am confident.

                • I got my new engine about 90% assembled ... I pick up the push rods
                  tomorrow and will finish it up tomorrow.. I think I can get it all ready to
                  drop in then put it in on Wednesday

                  • Brakes are plumbed, front end assembled, engine, trans, driveshaft installed.

                    Still need to install fuel tank and lines, fuel pump, radiator and hoses, fan, wire it, and install the "interior" which will consist of door panels, seats, shifter and console.
                    There's always something new to learn.

                      • falcon - my avatar picture was taken early last summer - it's all painted now, in hindsight, I can't believe I thought I was going to have the car done last year - I've done a lot of work on it since then and it's still not ready.... it did go almost all winter without being touched though.
                        Moving is not good for project progress.
                        There's always something new to learn.

                            whole thing in tomorrow... should be running on Thursday and out putting
                            some miles on it

                            • Car is in front end shop getting subframe connectors pinion angle set front end aliment and ARB tabs welded. Tune is a mile off and may be biggest problem.

                                What u quit early... Mike great to here it coming back together for u its been a tuff road for u with the engine... See u down on Woodward next week u'll get some road testing done down there.
