I'm A Little Bummed

I was getting ready today to shoot a couple of color test
panels to see what color I was going to paint my Rampage
but when I pulled out my 2 colors I wanted I didnt have 1
part (top coat) for the Inferno Red Pearl coat.. I called my
local paint shop to see if they had it or could mix it.... its
discontinued... but they are gonna call PPG on Monday to
see if they have it or have the mix ratio... I really like that
color.... I guess if they cant get it.. its gonna be Flame Red
with micro metallic in it... bummer

UPDATE.... the wife got home and I told her what was happening...
she said did you look in the closet... I did have some paint in there
about a year ago but I thought I got it all... behind a box was a gal
can and low and behold it was my top coat.... I'M A HAPPY CAMPER..
will shoot the test panel tomorrow... but I do need to pick up the
reducer/hardener... no problem.... sure am glad she can still remember
stuff.... I sure cant

thats great news!, we shot a spray out of the red for the GTO this weelk, and it got the wifes approval so it will be red by the end of the week! I decided to paint it " beermeister red" , instead pf the factory red. trying to avoid looking like a Jake wanna be! J/k Jake, and yes I know mustands suck, and BBC are for dump trucks!

I had a dodge it was just once, in High School and it was just once, a Phase Yeah that's it. LMAO I could not stand the starter going Kaw Kaw neither could my dad it did not last long.

I shot a test panel the other day but it looks more orange in the
pic than it really is... in person its more maroon.... also ALL of
what I own is Mopar... they gave me a check for 35 years so
I am loyal... the wife worked there for 34 years... so yeah we
are both loyal...
I'm gonna cut down on the metallic about 15% and put it
in the final clear coat... you shouldnt see those brite spots
in the pic

Also this is on white poster board so it has ripples in it
