Your the Cup motor Jake.W9s are only supposed to last 50 laps on a half mile dirt track. DUH!!!! Since you are math challenged that's 25 miles not 500 miles.LMAO!

I was told by one of the cam manufacturers that I would have to sacrifice a cylinder head to spintron test.

From the looks of your motor on there the heads look intact (not cut up).

What is really required parts wise to spintron? Does the head have to have "windows" to see motion?

LOL... thats some serious BS... I've been running my W-9s for about 8 years now
in my race car... I average about 250 passes a season... if I had another R-3 block
I would have built another W-9 for my Rampage but since I didnt and this is a cheapo
throw together engine with W-5s thats what I went with... but I do have a spare set
                      of W-9s ready to go

You need to have a "windowed" block.....cylinder needs to be sealed from oil, and the lazers sit in the cylinder looking up at the valve.

W9's are a little bit better head than a Dart Pro 1 guys.......paint any picture you'd like, it's a fact. Jusayin....

The floor of my intake port is level with the deck....
