I hear they offer a tru trac or/and wave track for 35 spline. Pros? Cons?

I have been running a 35 spline locker in mine for years, so far I have not found the breaking point.
But then mine is just an old small block.

I have run a spool in my car for a long time. Easy and affordable and there is a limited selection of Lockers for the chrysler 8.75 with 35 spline axles(or there was 12 years ago). I would consider a locker whenever I upgrade rear axles but I doubt I would go that route.

My jeep has lockers front and rear, no complaints, and I don't think I would go the spool route with it. It makes a variety of other noises so the click pop bang of the lockers is really no big deal.

I've had 2 different factory ford clutch type posi's in my car for DW 11 and 12 and by midweek it turned into a one wheel wonder. I'm putting detroit locker in it for DW13.
                        Go ahead, pull my finger.

I was thinking about a Detroit locker but at nearly $700 vs $150 for a spool I became a cheap ass. Will be installing spool tomorrow and hitting test and tune next Wednesday.

I found a couple 9" lockers for closer to $150 each....careful shopping. I guess the GM stuff is pricy

a bit off topic, but would an air locker work? Other than that thousand dollar pricetag...
