I have run a spool in my car for a long time. Easy and affordable and there is a limited selection of Lockers for the chrysler 8.75 with 35 spline axles(or there was 12 years ago). I would consider a locker whenever I upgrade rear axles but I doubt I would go that route.
My jeep has lockers front and rear, no complaints, and I don't think I would go the spool route with it. It makes a variety of other noises so the click pop bang of the lockers is really no big deal.1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S 340 with a 360
