Actually 2 questions, first what classes are they allowed on drag week? 2nd I am looking to pick up a couple tenths. I have a 5500 converter and leave at 1500 rpm and let the car flash and it launches nicely. What kind of et advantage should I expect leaving on the trans brake?

That would depend on how your chassis is set up... if it can
take the hit... alot of times if its higher in the revs(closer to
the peak torque) it will plant the tires hard... on my race car I
cant leave at idle.. it just blows the tires off... but if I leave at
anything above 4000 it hooks hard.. if I leave at 5600(thats the
stall on the conv) I get a 1.19 60'.... its all about your suspension
and what it can take... but if you can get a better 60' you can multiply
that by 1.5 for the 1/4 mile
