    Thanks to Jeff's Facebook post on some Curtis head work for the Aussies, I tripped across this Mopar engine build article. Not sure who's motor this is, but it's alway fun to read about the different approaches taken to try and survive DW.

    This awesome small-block Chrysler engine was built by Shady Dell Speed Shop in Pennsylvania for a Hot Rod Drag Week customer. It's built to compete in the NA Small Block class and makes over 700 horsepower and 600 f

      I was a little surprised by the comment "in keeping with the class requirements must be straight-up pump fuel." I don't recall any rules about fuel...

        Me either...
        DW2013 - DNF (Gateway - trans failure)
        DW2014 - SR BB/PA class winner!
        DW2015 - Finished in 1 piece (for once!)
        DW2016 - Still "Fox Free" ;)

                Author is probably confusing Drag Week with the Pump Gas Drags.

                Ryan J did a set of Magnum R/T heads for me once and they were awesome.

                  You have to run Pump gas to get from town to town is probably what was meant.

                    Nice build, but as we all have seen unless you test it over the week it could be a pile of parts after a few days even with the best parts around.

                      Ryan did one of my W-9 sets of heads... Chapman did my other set..
                      both flowed exactly the same(the Chapmans were CNCd and Ryans
                      were hand ported)
