  • Finishing Up!

16 y/o girl, finishing my first car (68 Camaro), and preparing for my first Drag Week with Mom as co-pilot. Working day and night to finish the car by Aug. 16th. Planning on hitting the local track we have reserved for the first test n tune on Aug. 18th. Along with it being the cars first time down the track it'll also be mine, so lots of prep for both of us. This has consumed my whole summer vacation, so no trips to the beach or even any sleep overs for me. Now reality is kicking in and it's all paying off, so I'm getting anxious! Counting down the days, looking forward to lots of fun, can't wait to meet everyone!

Check out the build pictures on my dad's website and my facebook-

Very nice! And love the color (several orange cars going to be there this year, see other threads on this forum). Hope all goes well and you make it. BTW- wont you be missing school??

What class are you going to be in?
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

Orange does seem to be the color this year. That Chevy does look good. And I love your dad's gasser in the background.
                        Go ahead, pull my finger.

                          Yep, you're qualified

New car, almost no testing time, new driver, first Drag Week. Yep, you're crazy (and therefore fully qualified). Enjoy it, you'll have a blast.

I concur, you'll fit right in. If you miss the test date, don't worry. Plenty of time to test in Bowling Green, Indy, St......
