Just received the following email from [email protected] late last night...

"Dear Hot Rod Drag Week registered racers:

You are receiving this email because you have signed up for this year’s race. If you are certain you can’t attend Drag Week, we will process only a 50-percent refund (not including the processing fee) and only for requests made prior to midnight Pacific time on August 15. After August 15 there will be no refunds of your pre-registration fee, however, if after August 15 you find you still need to drop out please notify us as soon as possible. We still have an extensive wait list. The maximum for 2013 will be 250 cars. We strongly encourage you to notify us as soon as you are certain you can’t make it to the race. Please open a spot for another racer who could be ready to run. You would want them to do the same for you.

Also, we are in the process of conducting our final meetings with each track. We will have additional information available next week as a result of those meetings. Watch for a comprehensive email that will be sent to every registered racer.

Thanks, and we will see you at this year’s Hot Rod Drag Week."

Damn Mr P!!!! If it wasn't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all!!!!

They will be falling like flies today!!! Myself, I don't quit until I run outta time, but I'm crazy like that!! 3 weeks is a LIFETIME! Phuck the measly 150 bucks, or whatever, I've spent MANY, MANY times that just in the last couple days on my junk! That's just a decent steak dinner.
