There was never an "auto in" from previous entries. Last year they sent an e-mail a few hours earlier to prior entrants as to what time the registration opened, but that did not stop many others from hearing about it "early" or simply figuring it out.

Hopefully close to Midwest again, even as hot as it was here in Indy, that was the most interesting event I've attended in awhile.

I first watched in Tulsa 2011, the funny part to me was looking into the pits from the stands and how empty they looked with no trucks and trailers yet there was 7 and 8 second cars on the track. It set the hook and I have done it two years now.

Not usually until early Spring, this year will be a train wreck in terms of the number of folks trying to sign up. If you are coming as special guests you won't have to worry too much. Host Hotels (where the Hot Rod staff stays) always come last.
