  • Drag Week 2014 participants please intruduce yourself.

As a DW newbie I'd like to be able to pick a few of the BS'ers out of the crowd of cars at Drag Week. Please introduce yourself, your car, and your class here.

My name is Greg and I'll be in the 68 Firebird pictured below running in SR/BB/NA. I've been wanting to do Drag Week ever since I attended 2005 as a spectator at KCIR. Last year my wife and I took our vacation following along for the first three days and since then we have been determined to be part of it. We made it in!!

My name is Levi. 1st time entering DW. Either be running Unlimited or Daily Driver since the truck wasn't built specifically for DW and doesn't seem to fit any other classes. Looking forward to meeting some BS'ers out there.

3rd Year Here, Name is Clark and I am 12 miles from the track here in Tulsa. Glad to be back, I'll be running my 68 Barracuda in daily driver. The car is changing almost zero this year but I hope to be a bit faster, hoping for an 11.3ish in the heat but .40s is more realistic.

Only my second post here but since I was lucky enough to make registration I thought I would introduce myself My name is Cory I will be running a 68 GTO that is coming off a long slow restoration of sorts. Running a 454 yes a Chevy block that's not a typo. Also replaced the original Muncie 4 speed with a Jerico, fresh paint and many other upgrades. Planning to run daily driver with a goal of surviving the week!

Hi, Swede here, my son Lane and I run DD with our lifted Baja chase truck (hey, air flows under almost as easy as over). At the track we swap the 33" off road tires for slicks and M&H front skinnies - gives the truck a funny look but says we're trying to be one of you Drag people. We love DragWeek, come over and say Hi. Hardy Handshakes, Swede
                  DragWeek 07, 08, 09, 11, 12 & 2013 with 2nd place in DD
