    4.5 x 4.400 = 547 4.5 x 4.420 = 552 stroker shelf kit... Your right the 545 and 557 are more common

I don't think so. Better double check your formula.

Stroke x bore. Not bore x stroke.

I think that is the point. DF has a different idea of what he wants in this class than what is showing up.

I 100% agree on the Tire rule that what daily driver needs to eliminate the 16-13 cars/trucks and making it 10.00 sec is a good thing. I think you will see the bump go to mid 11s or lower

I will miss Eric's beer keg trailer. With out a doubt it was the high water mark. Assuming 4" in height is a typo is it 4' from the pavement, or the height of the box? I guess Larry will have make a few adjustments on his trailer. If you are dual fuel capable, and are in that weight class, is it that hard to buy straight ethanol at the track? I talked with the Rockett Brand guys about selling their fuel at check points, if not the tracks themselves, given their contracted exclusive fuel provider issues. E85 is more complicated for the full depending on route, I like it for a hypothetical 8-71/572" BB motor: this too can solved.

My read is it's 4' height of the box (to arrive at the cubic feet allowed). I have been know to be wrong, though..

The idea is that they want to limit you to the cubes of a 4'x8'x4' trailer. Ignore the height, width, length, and concentrate on cubes.

Ends up being a little more volume than I have in the back of my Chevy II.

Yep, geometry comes in handy, even on Drag Week.

really though, are they gonna get into a snit over 2 cubic inches?

I would bet yes. You think they would allow a .030 over 302 run in a D class?
