  • When you leaving? Whats your Route? and Where you stopping along the way?

Hey everyone, figured people might want to hook up and drive together up to Madison..

So everyone post what day and time you are trying to leave to get to the start. Also your route and where you plan on spending the night (if you have to) along the way so that others might be able to meet up with you on the way to Madison.

Personally I am leaving Gurnee, IL (10 miles south of WI border on I94) about 3:15 on Friday after noon, heading north on 94 to Milwaukee and then 94 west to Madison. Plan on being there about 5:30 or so at the VFW dinner.

    OR

Head north out of Gurnee ton 94 to Route 50 in WI then over to Route 12 and take that to Madison

see other thread about Milwaukee construction.

    WISH EVERYONE SAFE TRAVELS.

Leaving Greenville, SC around 1PM Friday afternoon. Traveling as far as I can Friday night. That's the only night we don't have a hotel booked as I'd like to go as far as I can. Plan on hauling ass with all interstate travel. Really test out 5th gear.
I plan to take I-40 to I-75 to to I-64 to I-65 to I-80 into WI.

The route we're taking brings us within a half hour of Michigan... never been to Michigan, so we're going to cross the border for a few minutes to say we've been there

Leaving north Mississippi Tuesday morning so we can visit some places we missed last year........Field of Dreams, Galena, IL and the Dells. All we saw of the Dells last year was the rear end of the car in front of us while sitting in a traffic jam. Arriving in Madison Friday.
