    • I am sooooo jealous! I have actually given up on extending my shed. I rewired for my welder last week and am in the process of adding 20 LED fixtures so I can see. No lift - no real air compressor - no glass bead machine BUT I can make what I have usable. Still on the fence about paying ~$5k to bring power more power into it OR just buying a Harbor Freight generator to run the heavy load stuff when I need it.

      • My shed is full and I have too much in the garage. Its tight to park in so I just store my engine hoist stand welder tool boxes parts etc.. And work out of the driveway.

        • I just bought another lift yesterday a 9000lb two post low clearance lift the post are only 9' tall. It's in great shape it's coming out of a small town garage. I have to pull it out and install a new alignment but this time the deal is done.

          • Hate to hear you're giving it up Allen, but I know for a fact that you'll 'make do' in superior fashion.

Ordered an Advantage Lift today. SS9000XLT with a very good discount.
            Includes a few goodies:
            • 5" × 5" inch posts with 6" × 6" sliding collars are the largest and sturdiest in the industry. (Eliminates the wobble)
            • Manual Dead bolt locks are the most reliable and is the safest locking system used.
            • 36" aluminum approach ramps included that are fully gusseted yet weigh only 29 lbs.
            • Heavy‑duty poly caster wheels that won't cut or mar your painted floor.
            • Rolling Jacking Tray 4500 lb. with a drain plug.
            • Drip Trays a set of 4 to catch the drips.
            • Power unit 120V/20A
            • A full 83" of clearance under the deck while resting on the top lock.
            • Pulleys have cable keepers to protect cables from ever coming off a pulley.
            • Pull out stops on both ends of the lift that will allow you to drive through.

            New improvements for 2016
            • Tracks that are boxed in for extra strength.
            • New features now include a height limiter switch so you don't hit your ceiling.
            • A secondary safety lock system.
            • Anti surge valve built into the cylinder.
Bolting it down is an option.......I never would have thought that.
I think it will be just fine. Guess we'll see.

            • Looks like a sweet lift I have never heard of this brand but there is a lot of good hobbyist lifts out there.

                        • That would be nice but I'm still not going to complain. I'm sure neither one of us will have enough room. Plus later I will build my 200sq.ft. shed. Looks great!

                            • Had to rebuild the front suspension on mendy's mustang today now it is greaseable. New struts lower A arms hub bearings tie rod ends and sway bar links not bad for a car with 62000 miles but it is 12yrs old. Tomorrows project go pick up my bobcat and move the shed and maybe start digging for garage.
