  • Hey guys/gals, check this out.

My son has started a blog. I know that most of you will not be interested in the cars but he did do a quick write up on powertour. Check it out, let us know what you all think. He takes criticism well. And you can rib him about the cars on powertour next year. He had a bunch of photos on his phone but something happend with the transfer to snapfish and he lost them all. The shots you will see are the ones that I took with my phone. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

Very nice write up. If I may point out though, while the Ring Brothers BBQ was open to all PT participants, it was not free. I realize that he did not actually say that but having the "disclaimer" kind of made it appear that was part of the draw.

            nice site.
it is hefty, maybe encode lightweight versions of photos, to option click to the big resolution.

I made my first one in 1998, with 3d logos.

The drift scene gets much respect from me. Those guys are as hardcore car guys as anybody. I enjoyed your son's blog immensely.

Thanks everyone. I'm standing behind him even though the drift/stance/VIP thing is not for me. I don't understand it but it is kind of fun to let him school me on something for a change. Growing up I loved cars but was told it will be the death of me, as it will, but I will not steer him away from it if he loves it. He wants to be a automotive engineer and wants to learn to weld and become a fabricator and chassis builder. He was beside himself at Ring Brothers this year. Too bad I couldn't find anyone there to speak to him about the trade. He really loved stopping at Heidts and talking to those guys in the fab shop. He may have a future in auto journalism as well. It is going to be weird me sitting in the passenger seat of the Catalina on next years tour. You all may not want us cruising with you next year. I'll have to make sure it has good brakes.

Actually had a few minutes to do some reading...

By this time one of the cars in our group broke down first thing in the morning due to some ignition problems, but needless to say we had it figured out and we continued on.

                          Wonder who that was...
