          Trouble.

          good looking dog. They all answer to Dog, though. The two visitors I get I named Butthead and Nut Job, according to their personalities.

            How about Hans? Or Shultz or Klink? And how old do you need to be to get that one? On a side note, I saw a real German Shepard once on an overnight stop in Spangdahlem. Didn't get to pet him though. You know how those Germans can be.

                        Probably won't work well for the shep, but all those years ago Jim Stafford (the song Spiders and Snakes) said he named his dog Dammit. "Come 'ere, Dammit!"

                          I mentioned to Laura at lunch that you were looking for a name for your new German Shepard & she suggested "Kobus" from a big local story. Here it is;

                          ...when you got a fast car, you think you've got everything.

                            Has the dog done anything out of the ordinary that defines her personality?
                            I had a lab/english setter mix years ago that was all black save for a white patch on his chest and the tip of his tail.
                            He barked like crazy at his daddy when he was tiny - it was the first time we heard him bark and the sound was much bigger than we could have imagined coming from that little body - he was THUNDER from that day on!

                            Of course there's a bunch of great car related dog names -

                            clutch
                            torque
                            sledge
                            Zora or duntov (since you're a chevy guy and he's German)
                            crank (especially if he acts cranky)

                            great looking pooch!
                            There's always something new to learn.
