We 153. Waiting for snow to arrive today but the garage tours were great, grandson loved it! This was the bar from one shop and also included a complete 50’s malt shop with full kitchen. Some of these shops are amazing. Lots of great vintage cars too.

152..... The Lewis and Clark Trail through South Dakota mostly follows SD Hwy 50 near the Missouri River. North of Fort Thompson, SD the Lewis and Clark Trail follows the Missouri on both sides, these highways are 1804 and 1806, the years that the Corps of Discovery traveled west and then back east. It is not clear if 1806 (the west side) is always established, 1804 does travel along the east side of the river as a series of connected roadways through North Dakota to Montana.

151........ Calumet Bluff is located on the Nebraska side of Gavins Point Dam (left side of picture) upstream of Yankton, SD on the Missouri River. Lewis and Clark met with the Chiefs of the Yankton Sioux Tribe here in August of 1804. It's not determined exactly where this meeting took place, Calumet Bluff (where picture was taken from) stretch's along the river above and below the dam. Gavins Point Dam construction was completed in 1957 producing electricity and flood control under the Pick Sloan Plan, it is the smallest, and the farthest, downstream Missouri River dam.....

only 151 days to go... I toured Gavin's Point dam in the early 60's. They had an observation window facing the lake. Got to see some HUGE paddle fish!
