Saddened to announce Passing of Theresa’s Mom (88MCSS LS2 6spd)

I’m saddened to pass along word that Theresa and Ralph have unexpectedly lost Theresa’s Mom.

Ms. Ruby Dusek-Strickland passed unexpectedly on 20 June. She was born 10/08/1939. A small simple service was held this past Tuesday.

Ms. Ruby loved flowers and being outdoors. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

My dear Bang Shift Friends
John & Lisa, Jim & Cathy, Perry, Ed & Mary, Greg & Mendy, Bob & Donna,
Steve, Patrick & Tammy, Big Dave, Mike & Laura, Phil, Terri & Vic, Diane ~
The past month has been a whirlwind, pretty extreme ups & downs.
I wish I could say more good things happened, but sometimes life keeps
coming hard at a family, & it's difficult to get one foot in front of the other.
I'm sure Terri & Vic's family is feeling some of that right now.
YET through it all, we keep on going - because of the good in our friends & family.
Your prayers have been answered in more ways than I can explain at this time.
Even to the point of getting my brother, my dad, & I to Mississippi when we
got the news. A distracted driver came more than a foot over the yellow line
on a small So. Tennessee two lane road, with no emergency lane on my side;
only a three foot irrigation ditch, I still don't know how we made it through.
It was by the grace of God and all the prayers of my loved one. I believe God
will get us through the rest of this. Thank you more than I can relay
It helps greatly, to know you all care. It helps to know there are still wonderful
people on this earth, trying to make a difference. God bless all of us.

although my folks have been divorced my father did come to MS to help us out & cover funeral costs (miracle 3)
and this picture is a grand miracle.....of my parents seven children six of us were able to take this picture---
we have not all been together in forty.. years.... (40)
