      I'm leaning toward the Garmin nuvi 265WT. It has free traffic updates which would be very hand when I'm in the L.A. area.

          It would probably be in a continuous alert mode! At least I know the streets down there enough to detour on surface streets.

            i have satellite radio that has a jump button to local traffic every 4 minutes. i have read enough reviews that say the traffic feature on the gps's ain't all that, so i will use the jump button.
            Maybe I can clear this up.....I thought the cop was a prostitute.
