    I have not seen anyone post their idea's yet. For things to see and or do while out on next years tour.

    I have probably mentioned a few of these in the past, but I will list them again:


    North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer NC just North of CMS. Trains, planes, trucks and automobiles.

    Street Side Classic Cars in Concord NC, just in case you need a new PT ride.

      3 hours south of the last stop (worth a stop if it is on your way back home)

      Thanks for the info which many people could use. The stop at Wright Patterson Museum is well worth it but make sure you have time on your hands cause it's big!
      Have been to KFC and was a little disappointed but food was good. Will check out the other places as we go.

                    This may be slightly off the route, but a cool stop if you can make it: https://www.ncparks.gov/pilot-mountain-state-park

                    Really great view

                    Close by is Mt. Airy ( the real life Mayberry ) and the town of Pilot Mountain. Both of these are hot rod friendly towns, with a cruise in the 1st Saturday of the month ( Pilot MTN. ) and the 3rd Saturday of the month ( Mt. Airy ).

                      Very cool! And could very well be on the route....Concord to Martinsville is so short, they're going to have to add length on that day!
