Ed, if someone wants to send the award to us, we'll see Keith and Tammy in October and can give it to them then. It's probably cheaper than trying to ship it to Canada.

Sorry guys, I don't get on here much now that PT 2020 is so far away. I'm also knee deep in my 28x52 shop build.
I didn't realize it would have to go to Canada, I've never shipped out of the country before. If it's OK with everyone, I'd like to take Blue Lightnin up on his offer.
I have a horrible week at work this week, if Blue get's me his address I'll get it out for shipment fri/sat.Last edited by Jesse James 80; August 5, 2019, 10:32 AM.1967 Chevrolet C10 SWB - 350/700R/3.73

It's on it's way to you. Wasn't too bad, just under $20.
The offender! She's actually running well, and it's a shame, but she's been trapped in the garage over the last couple of months due to my most recent project. I literally can't get it out of the garage (blocked in.) When I get a little farther along I'll throw some pics up of that in a month or two.
I can definitely say she was a deserving winner (she's had a history of PT failures):
2014: Partial tour - Trans was slipping bad when I left the TN stop to head home. Made it +/-6 hours through the mountains, parked it, went to move it the next day and had ZERO gears. That's when I swapped the C4 for a manual T5.
2015: Ignition system pooped the bed and left us on the side of the road with my fellow Bangshifters to the rescue! A new distributor had it going.
2016: Nothing major, but it was SO HOT in Texas I couldn't run my air, and my electric fan controller fried, I had to wire it direct for rest of tour. I'm never doing another PT in Texas unless it's like one day only and quickly heads away...
2018: Why she won... custom one wire alternator fried on the way to PT. A stock alternator didn't have enough juice to keep it running so the battery died and I made it to a gas station with no lights and barely enough ignition to keep the motor running. Paul was behind me and we went to Walmart to buy two batteries to get us to the hotel that night. What should have been a pleasant 6/7 hour cruise ended up being a 12 hour debacle. I hitched a ride with Paul for day one and we spent a couple hours trying to get the right 3G alternator that would fit, figured out how to wire it up via google, and had a great rest of the tour. I was unofficially awarded the trophy when Lee (previous winner) had to head home unexpectedly when his wife fell ill. Probably wasn't enough to really earn it for 2018, but overall, I think my car earned some recognition for never failing to fail, yet, kept on rolling.
