the project is moving right along so when is the completion date?
Well, my original completion date was June, so considering I've blown past that, I really don't know anymore. By the end of this year would be nice? We'll see. It's going to be finished inside and out, so there's still a lot to do.
Thanks everyone for the compliments! It's getting there!

More progress. The entire inside is wired!!!! I paid a contractor for that. He did a great job. Although I can't get anything turned on until the interior is finished.... it's just a rough in.
Duke Power has come by and installed an upgraded transformer (from a 15 to a 25?) and run the new line to my shop. I had the electrician rough in PVC for future heat/air! Our upstairs house unit and air handler need to be replaced next year.... so hoping 2/3 years from now I can add it to the shop.
Installed the side doors.
I also added the accent roofs and got the upper parts sided. My tin finally showed up so I should have the soffits all done this weekend.

And this little guy arrived 3 weeks early on 9/08/20 at 13:13 PM via c-section. Mom and baby are doing great. He's 2 weeks old already.
My dad, grandfather, and I all have the same hair... and it looks like he in"hair"ited it
I hope James Wyatt will be my little shop and power tour buddy in another 5/6 years. I guess I need to get this shop done and get that firebird project rolling...

My missus walked by and said "Aww how precious!" and then asked those girl questions "How many pounds? How long?" and I gave the guy answer "Hell if I know, does it really matter?"... and got 'the eye'. Fair warning. Girls ask these questions.

Thanks everyone! It's going to be a challenge getting the shop done with the little guy and my work schedule. Jena is going to be home with him until she goes back to work in January part time (3 days/wk). Jena is a Veterinarian. Her part time pay is almost as good as my full time, which is great, because now our insurance is $$$$$
I wanted to take more time off but my company is only 16 employees so they don't have to abide by FMLA and we're really busy again.. and I'm out of vacation time.
I have a couple friends who are decent dads, but pretty half ass husbands and they get into arguments all the time over who does what... I'm trying to help a lot more around the house, I enjoy cooking... helping with dishes, laundry, etc, not so much, but it makes her happy. I feed him and change his diapers. After 9PM he's mine to take care of while mom gets some sleep. We watch football and car shows His nana and papa come by for a few hours while I'm at work to give her a break too. He's already starting to stretch out feedings and sleep which is nice.
I'm hoping within the next couple of months he stretches out his feedings/pooping a bit, and we can go on a few Mustang/C10 cruises.
