I'm all booked. First stop was the worst. Had to book in Findlay. Norwalk was already ridiculous.

Get on 'em!
I've said I'll bring my C10 multiple times and it's never happened. I'm guessing 2020 and 2021 are going to be too far out for me, so my new goal is to finish my shop and have the 68 Bird ready to roll for the 2022 HRPT
I bought a 68 400 for it that had been rebuilt but never ran like 15 years ago. I tore it down to put better pistons in it and get it re-honed and cleaned up, but then the garage build started and I haven't even looked at the car.Last edited by Jesse James 80; October 31, 2019, 02:16 PM.1967 Chevrolet C10 SWB - 350/700R/3.73

not booked yet, but looking forward to the drive! May try to do something different this year, and not book rooms ahead, and roll the dice. We have some friends from Canada that go that way.Hot Rod Power Tour...As much fun as you can have in a car with your clothes on!!

My wife and I did this when we drove the entire PCH from San Diego to Seattle. I knew some of the drive was crazy winding roads that could be 30-35 mph, and packed with traffic, so we had no idea where we would end up each day. We had 10 days. The first 6 were spent between San Diego and San Francisco, and the last 4 were just driving along the coast and through the redwoods in Nor Cal. Each day around 4/5 PM we figured out where we could make it to and booked a hotel. I think we actually saved a lot of $ that way and didn't have the stress of having to be at a certain place.
Probably my favorite vacation I've ever done. We rented a 2015 Mustang Convertible and it had like 180 miles on it when we got it.Last edited by Jesse James 80; November 1, 2019, 05:47 AM.1967 Chevrolet C10 SWB - 350/700R/3.73

Hey guys, I'm a little confused. Do we stay overnight Sunday night in Norwalk or Dayton? It's been a while and I don't recall if we start the drive to Dayton Sunday morning/afternoon or Monday morning. I just need to get this straight so I can book my hotels. Thanks.
