Bob if your mom is anything like my mom, Clarence wouldn't be messing with her very long. My mom would have whipped his ass for a T-shirt. ;D Maybe I will take mom with me next time, no telling what kind of prizes I could get. It's not the destination, but the journey and the friends you make along the way that counts.

Re: 2009 Norheast Rod Run 1st weekend of Oct.
Last Year I took friday off and from My house
I drove Rte 20 East to Rte 7 to Rte 2 to ski area 265 miles I feel as beautiful drive as any we have had on PT07-09
RTE 2 from Outside Troy to SKI AREA is spectacular
took 5/6 hours from home
I will be doing same thing this year, probably leaving about 9/10 am, friday
the drive over was great, rte 20 west from here is very nice
65longroof if you or anyone else wants to caravan
just post

Thanks for the offer, but we will be going I-90 so we can get there a little early on Friday and spend some time with our friend. I would love to take the scenic route, we have taken 5/20 between Buffalo and Syracuse several times. It's a nice leisurely ride. Maybe on the way home we can caravan.
If you know of someone that needs a room, I have an extra for both nights. The second night is at a Comfort Inn.
