Still very cold and snowy here. I can say I really love my seat heaters in the car, and my blanket on the couch. I would be happy with 40 or 50 outside. Maybe even 30 On the plus side retirement is great and we can stay home if we want and not be out in the cold.

I've been driving Marie's Edge when the roads are bad - getting used to the heated seats and steering wheel. It was -12 driving to work at 6:00 am this morning..

just checked with the Silver Palm. they are filled up. is there a alternate hotel that anyone is staying, or did everyone get in to the silver palm? also, what hotel is everyone staying in by allens? got reservations at hei in florida city.

We have reservations at the HIE on Dixie Hwy in Florida City for May 2nd. Do not have anything yet by Alans. Think he did put a list of a few places. Let us know where you choose.

I got asked about hotel information near me. Here is what I found that is close to our house. I have never stayed at any of these properties. They are all in Bradenton on or near the river. They are about 4 miles from our house.

There may be a cancellation (or two) down here. I know of one couple that isn't going to go unless they get their shots and another that is questionable.
