To qualify what Allen said..... The car show was low on the list of priorities for the event, and to be judged was even lower. Sunday after the parade we did participate in the Show and Shine for a little while. So breaking down the cost of registration, by Sunday morning I believe it was determined there was still about $14 worth of fun to be had. I must say I had at least $20 worth of entertainment watching the CSTMWGN in my mirror. Remember MOPAR Jim's difficulty deceifering the red note card in the registration packet? There were others that had a hard time with it too. All I can say is, I really wish I would have had the go pro on my deck lid. That Ford Wagon 588 Cubic Inch monster is super impressive!! Wow.... just WOW!! Allen has done an incredible job with his car and to vacation near 6000 miles with that kind of combination is a feat not many of us will ever achieve. Thanks to everyone that came, we really enjoyed your company.....

We sure had a good time!
Felt a little bit like a poser - entered the show ($55) and never spent a minute on the show grounds! But I did get a T-Shirt, breakfast for two and the privilege to drive in the parade.
Actually, it was just an excuse to drive the wagon somewhere to spend quality time with friends. Willow had never been to Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons and neither of us had been to Pike's Peak. When we got to the gate for Pike's Peak, the lady taking our money determined that I was too frail to ride the shuttle bus to the top so she allowed us to drive the wagon all the way to the top.
Some specs: 6k miles (well actually only 5932.6), 522.3 gallons of fuel and 13 days on the road. We had 4 big mileage days (862.4, 725.0 going out and 723.4, 787.3 coming home).
Sure hope I didn't screw up my fuel table as I left it in learn mode the entire trip and a good portion of the trip was above 5k elevation. Now it seems to like to ping on light throttle.
