Heard from Andy that Big Dave had a fire in his shop! Please join in in sending Positive Vibes, Thoughts and Prayers! I understand that there is significant damage but as far as I have heard Dave is physically OK! Though we are thankful that Dave is not injured, we are heartbroken at this tragedy.... Our thoughts and prayers are with him tonight!

Spoke with Dave last night, he has some minor burns but otherwise ok. Some of the cars lost are very special to him, hopefully they can be saved.Comment

Agree with everything said above, me Dave met on HRPT in 2011 first year for both of us, we had so much in common we became best friends and riding partners. I go over to visit him often, sometimes we're working on his cars sometimes we're beating the bushes and salvage yards trying to find me something. Last time I talked with him he said it was determined that the Banana Boat could not be saved and he was going to search for another one. Maybe that’s changed but I doubt it.
