    Thanks Bruce

Could that be a big block in it? Valve covers and timing cover leads me to believe it is a 385 series (my favorite).

distributor cap looks like a late model 5.0 electronic ignition. power steering pump looks like old. maybe a 289?

74 and up 351c/400m/429/460 came with the same duraspark distributors - I am running a duraspark in both my piles.
The 72 Lincoln 460 (that I put in my POS truck) has that same bracketry and teardrop shaped pump tank.

I am not familiar enough with the 289 to remember what the timing cover looked like but it just sort looks like a 385 series (429/240)
          .
Heck given my earlier statements about the custom grill on the 57 it COULD be a Chevy mounted backwards - after all it is in Canada.

That even this Buick owner would like! 8) Had a 59 292 three on tree in college and also commuted in a 58 Ford wagon (course the owner got mad at me because I broke into it one afternoon and was sitting in it when he got there!)

Imagine that black wagon with some ghost flames and BIG tires!

Pretty sure that's an original 2 door RanchWagon.
