Re: Congratulations - FIRECRACKER
LOL !!!
Thanks Allen, Luke and I are both now qualified to go 200-250 MPH, and the Firecracker is definitely up to the challenge.
That 88mm turbo spun up and ran like a champ.
The pull was awesome !!
Luke managed 190 MPH and some change and the car has lots more in it.
We are only at 9 lbs. boost and the thing goes to 35.
We spun the MT's on the dyno at 630hp and it still had lots of powerband left.
Needless to say, I cannot wait for the October 25-26 meet.

Nice week end guys. You should be proud!
This is what Luke looks like at 182 mph, just popping the chute.

Scott and Ace were kind enough to answer my nagging questions. The chevelle is just bad ass.
Looking down the Maxton Mile ...
Scott's cool '67 Chevelle Malibu engaging just after push off.
The staging lanes.
I really like the roller skate errr... crosley.
In shutdown, hooking up the tow rope.
Dave (STD) and Luke (BetterWithBoost) in the push/chase vehicle
This is after Daves first run and the second time fire/rescue had to roll.
Seth does impressions ask to see "Dave talking to Joe" ;D
The oil control fix.
All the following pics are from Steve's (White Monster) run.
Steve (White Monster) looking bad ass ready to lay down a 172 mph with praise from the tower !
(kiss up ;D)
Chief Starter Al, giving Steve a final inspection.
Get ready, set ...
GO !!!
The battery fix ?
Scott took his blue top Optima out of his Chevelle and gave to us,
so Luke could chase a 200MPH record and the ever elusive "Green Hat".

My questions is how do we know that Reni is a good judge of what a good looking guy should look like? ??? : :-*
