How glad I am that a new contract has been signed for the next 5 years!

How come nothing ever fits my junk without some kind of modification?

I finally got the replacement case for the wagon. As you can see, this case has the strenghtening rib running down the top of the bell housing. Of course, it won't fit so I chose to adjust the case instead of the floor/tunnel.



The black line is where the case hits the tunnel - it bottoms out ( or tops out if you prefer) when the cross member is installed.


So here goes - 3 inches off the rear and re-angled




After using Eagle One Mag Wheel cleaner and a can of Plastic-kote Rebuilders Cast Aluminum paint it looks a little better





I am going to let the paint cure for a few days before I reassemble it. I still doubt that I will get it installed back in the wagon before it leaves for the body shop but who knows. It might be a good project for the weekend before Halloween.

I like not having shoe sized mosquitos year round.

if you know how to train them right, you can use them to keep out the other varmants (racoon,possium,armadillo, etc)

My son advised me at 7 AM that he could hear my DD from a 1/4 mile away from my house (I was coming home from the gym at less than 20 mph/1200 rpm). DD is 05 GTO with a cam and long tubes but stock mufflers. Upon further discussion he says "come on Dad, you have the loudest cars in the neighborhood". Who knew?

My son advised me at 7 AM that he could hear my DD from a 1/4 mile away from my house (I was coming home from the gym at less than 20 mph/1200 rpm). DD is 05 GTO with a cam and long tubes but stock mufflers. Upon further discussion he says "come on Dad, you have the loudest cars in the neighborhood". Who knew?

So a couple of weekends ago I'm taking the L out for a drive because it was nice out. I see my neighbor across the street washing his Monte SS. As I pull out of the drive, I stomp it and do a big smoky for three houses. Just as I look to my left, my brand new neighbors 2 houses down are moving into their house. Welcome to the neighborhood!
