Crew Chief: no need to install NEW water pump and power steering pump u have been carrying for spares for Years.

                          Engine installed:

                          powering steering pump now leaking

Crew Chief nowhere to be found

Let me see if I understand

The powersteering pump was not leaking before you removed the lines and pulled the engine. Now after reinstalling the engine and hooking the lines up - the pump is leaking (without the engine running). Yeah, I am sure that the pump went bad sitting on the bench so just to be safe I think you should replace the pump, brackets, lines, steering gear, drag link, tie rods, wheel bearings and steering wheel.

sounds like the Crew Chief, aka "The Big Dog!", has spoken.......

"If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch!"

Or just tighten the loose nut behind the wheel
