Why is it a new set of seats can arrive 5 days after the order, but the mounting brackets for the same seats will take 5 weeks to be manufactured? One won't do any good without the other.
Well, were the seats import speacials, or something from then US? Hell, most aftermarket seats, you coule just probably rig up something to bolt to factory sliders.
I'm a cheap ass...I rebuit my fronts using fox body lowers and mark 7 lincoln upper seat buckets on facrtory 70's Torino bucket seat tracks. All I had to do was fab a set of 3" plates with 2 holes on each plate for proper spacing and bolt in and done.

The seats a Scat Pro-cars, made by a U.S. company (in Malaysia.) As far a "fabbing something up", you are talking to Impala-Guy, not TunaBoat.
